Beschreibung

This work, My Library II by Olexandr Milovzorov, takes the idea of the spiritual library into a new chapter. In the center sits a monk or scribe, concentrated and at the same time filled with divine inspiration. His figure, framed in clear lines and bathed in warm ochre and yellow tones, appears monumental and timeless. Olexandr Milovzorov embodies the age-old tradition of writing, preserving and passing on knowledge, as it has been cultivated in monasteries and scriptoria for centuries.

The main figure is surrounded by angels and ornamental symbols. These companions emphasize the sacred character of the scripture and make it clear that the written word is not only information, but also revelation. Small calligraphic fragments, seemingly from another world, hover above the scene. They are reminiscent of ancient codices, coded symbols or even a cosmic script that carries meaning beyond cultures and times.

The color palette is characterized by warm earth tones, which are balanced by light accents. This creates the impression of a golden shimmer that envelops the work in an aura of the sacred. At the same time, the powerful brushstrokes appear modern and expressive, allowing Milovzorov to bridge the gap between past and present.

"Meine Buecherei II" is an original in gouache on paper and emphasizes the creative act of writing as a divinely inspired act. It is a work that celebrates not only religious symbolism, but also the value of tradition, education and lore. For collectors, it is a unique example of how art can capture the great themes of human history in a single, dense pictorial structure.
