Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe VII - Musical instruments in color and movement

The painting Baden State Theater Karlsruhe VII from Nina Nikonenko shows far more than just instruments. It is a pictorial realization of sound, rhythm and space. This work is part of a series in which the artist celebrates the world of music and the atmosphere of stages.

In the upper part of the picture you can see several Transverse flutes. They run almost weightlessly through the composition in silvery white. They float across the canvas like waves of sound. Below them, an abstract Saxophone stands out clearly. It is boldly drawn and is embedded in a luminous field of Cobalt blue, ochre and gold. The colors are reminiscent of the warm illumination of a stage.

Expression through color and structure

Nikonenko works with a distinctive Filler technique. Her application of paint is dynamic and powerful. This makes the surface appear almost three-dimensional, almost as if you could feel the sounds. The painting is not a still life, but a moment in motion. It seems as if the sound has just faded away and is still in the air.

The painter deliberately sets Contrasts a. Smooth surfaces in the background emphasize the instruments in the foreground. Cool blue tones stand next to warm yellow and gold. This combination of colors creates a strong effect. They combine to form a visual chord that guides the eye - almost like an invisible score.

For all those who not only want to hear music, but also see it

This work of art is ideal for people who love music. Whether through your own playing, conscious listening or a fascination for the theater, this picture appeals on many levels. It fits perfectly in music rooms, studios, foyers or creative retreats.

Baden State Theater Karlsruhe VII makes sound visible. It is an emotional moment, captured in color. This picture inspires again and again.
