Beschreibung

The collector's item Meine Bücherei III by Olexandr Milovzorov focuses on Egypt. This culture is one of the oldest advanced civilizations in the world and its symbols, monuments and myths are still fascinating today. Milovzorov takes up this visual language, but reinterprets it in his own style. The result is a work that is both familiar and surprising at the same time.

Zentrale Symbole und Figuren in Meine Bücherei III

The focus is on the Eye of Horus. This ancient Egyptian symbol stands for protection, healing and divine order. It is complemented by hieroglyphs, stylized birds and the figure of a ruler. The arrangement is reminiscent of ancient wall paintings, but Milovzorov's painting style makes it appear modern and free. He combines the strict symbolism of antiquity with a lively, expressive form of expression.

Farbwelt und Stimmung im Sammlerwerk Meine Bücherei III

The color palette differs from typical historical depictions. Milovzorov uses soft pastel shades of pink, beige and green. These are complemented by strong accents in blue, red and brown. The combination lends the work a dreamy, almost poetic atmosphere. The picture thus goes far beyond pure history painting. It becomes a space in which history, myth and spirituality flow into one another.

Writing and characters

The white calligraphic elements are particularly striking. They look like modern reinterpretations of hieroglyphics. In Egyptian culture, writing and images were inextricably linked. They were not only used to provide information, but also had a magical and religious significance. Milovzorov takes up this idea and translates it into a contemporary visual language.

Significance for collectors

"My library III" is a Original in gouache on paper. The work can be understood as an homage to antiquity, but goes far beyond historical references. It stands for the universal idea of a "library of humanity", in which every culture inscribes its myths and symbols. This work is particularly valuable for collectors. It impressively demonstrates how archaic symbols can be combined with modern art and thereby develop a new, vibrant expressive power.
