Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe - Music in color with virtuosos at work
This impressive music in color oil painting by Nina Nikonenko was created in the year 2016 as part of the project "Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe". It shows three musicians in black tailcoats playing saxophones and trumpets with concentration. The scene is full of energy - and calm at the same time. The moment seems frozen. But music pulsates in the colors.
The musicians - a triad of expression
In the center of the picture sit three men in classical concert dress on blue chairs. Two are holding golden Trumpets in his hands, the third a shining Saxophone.
