Beschreibung

The work Meine Buecherei VII by Olexandr Milovzorov combines spirituality with cultural history. At the center is a figure of Christ with an open book in his hands. This book symbolizes the divine word, but also the human knowledge that has been collected over centuries. The picture thus opens up a space in which faith and knowledge are closely intertwined.

Architecture and symbols in Meine Buecherei VII

A cityscape unfolds behind the central figure. Towers, walls and domes are reminiscent of medieval or Mediterranean cities. They stand for places where culture, science and religion came together. Scrolls and calligraphic fragments hover above the scene. They seem like voices from the past and hint at the diversity of human culture.

Writing and knowledge

The depiction of the open book is central. It refers to the Bible, but also symbolizes the universal knowledge of mankind. In combination with the scrolls, it becomes clear that every culture contributes its own texts, myths and knowledge to the "library of humanity".

Significance for collectors

"My library VII" is a Original in gouache on paper. It combines the spiritual dimension of faith with the cultural depth of history. This work is valuable for collectors because it not only shows a religious motif, but also conveys a universal message: Knowledge and faith are not opposites, but part of a common heritage. Milovzorov succeeds in making this connection visible and reinterpreting it in a contemporary visual language.
